(...) Well, the B-2 is Northrop right?! My next projects will be the Lockheed SR-71 followed by the U-2. My goal is to build all three of the Skunkworks famed planes. (...) The front nose wedge was the hardest part. I couldn't get the rest of the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) I remember you refreshing my memory about that nickname a couple of months ago. I read that early on in the development they had a couple of minor bugs to work out in the flight control systems - hence "wobbly goblin" - although it was really (...)   Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Wow. Skunkworks would be proud (can't wait to see your rendition of the B-2 Stealth bomber ;). You really captured the faceted look of the F-117, and an especially brilliant job on the nose. Heck, I even like the scale! Mark W. (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

Hi John First when I saw the thumbnail pictures I was very disappointed. Why has somebody put up pictures of a plastic scale model of the F-117. Then I realised it was LEGO. Truely a fantastic model. Is it possible that you will tell us more about (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) GRRRR! Upstaged again... I too have been experimenting with 3-D lifting body shapes that don't suffer from the "jaggies." I wanted to be the first to display one, and you've beaten me to the punch. FANTASTIC work, John! -- John J. Ladasky Jr., (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: HMAS Australia

(...) Mmmmmm is right! My only question is: Is that frame to be incorporated in the actual ship? If so, how? You did mention that its actual width will be 2x what's in the picture--but does that mean that the ship will be stouter (which it in fact (...)   Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Hi John, I know this has been said before, but this looks amazing! The thumbnails look indistinguishable from a photo fo the plane taken out on the tarmac. I think most of us would have looked at this plane, considered it for a moment or two, (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Oh my, that IS amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a model that's so, well, *smooth*. Wow. I think I like stealth2.jpg the best. I like that you nailed the proportions so well too. So when are you going to do a B2? :-) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)
