Dear Martin,

of course you are right. Although I should know the difference, I use usually
the word concrete (aka "Beton" in German) for all states of aggregate: power
cement, (fluid) ready mixed concrete and the finalized concrete material....

So this is a cement silo car.

There is another example similar to the 725, but with four tanks:
http://www.parostroj.net/katalog/nv/clanky/preprava_cementu/preprava_cementu_Raj.php3
It is called "Car for transport of bulk-loaded powder materials" (literal
translation from bureaucratic dialect of Czech to bureaucratic dialect of
Czenglish :-/), maybe we can call it a "cement hopper"?

I am also not sure whether the red 725 car is a caboose - in my opinion it looks
more like a boxcar with a brakeman's cab.

I agree on this. Just look into any (European) modelbuilder catalogue  and you
see dozens of such designs. A caboose should look different and would not have
the huge doors to load freight.

Lego overtook this design for other waggons like the 147 freeze car.

The first caboose came in US-version of 119 (US number: 118)

The next has been the alternative Model of 164
