While at BrickFestPDX 2007 last weekend it occurred to me that there was a
problem with displaying microscale MOCs and vignettes.
The public were being kept behind stanchions at arms-length from the tables on
which the MOCs were displayed. I moved my little vignette closer to the edge
of the table but I cannot imagine it was very visible to the average member of
the public. I accept the need for security but I like to think that the kids
could be really excited by smaller MOCs which would inspire them to build with
their limited collections.
Do other fests make different arrangements to display these smaller MOCs? What
could we use to make such displays?

Ill link a picture from GMLTC member Bill-2 (thats one of his firetrucks!):
Something like this allows people to get their noses right up next to a model,
but still prevents them from picking them up.
Maybe Lego still has these displays somewhere?
