Re: 1st posted MOC: Future City

Hey Doug, I was out of town last week so I missed your announcement here. As I noted before, these are really cool. You've really expanded it since the first pictures. My favorites are probably the Octan building, the Saturn plant, and the mansion (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Plethora of new mocs

(...) It's hard to comment on so many ships at once- I'd suggest in the future that you group just a couple of ships at a time in your posts. The Talon is really hard to see. Black is notoriously hard to photograph, and all-black is nigh impossible (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

I left you a review on MOCPages, but had to leave you some kudos here as well. Amazing build. -Keith (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  1st posted MOC: Future City

Hello all, Here is my first posted MOC, and my third MOC overall since I started building again a year ago (my dark age ended in 2000, but I just collected stuff for the first few years.) Known as Future City at this year's Brickfest, it's meant to (...) (19 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: micro moc: santorini

(...) thank you very much. i too would love to visit the original. it looks like a haven of peace and tranquility but i'm sure it's been overrun with tourists. the gate piece was thrilling to use, because i actually had them in blue! not many but a (...)   Re: micro moc: santorini

Hi Deborah, This microscale town is beautiful. It really makes me want to visit the original. Probably my favorite individual detail is the little gate you made with grill pieces, but the color scheme and the overall shape is wonderful. (...) well, thank you. kind words from the new master of micro. must admit that boat added the eureka factor we've talked about. please post about your micro farm. it must be seen by one and all. -§ deborah §- (19 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: micro moc: santorini

(...) Well done Deborah! I still think my favourite part is the boat. Throw a little SNOT into a MOC and it gets me all excited. I especially like the Clickits stud joiner as life preserver. You know how much I love Clickits. ;) J (19 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Space Garbage Freighter

This is a micro-scale space Garbage Freighter. It can carry a maximum of up to 15 Tons of garbage and junk. As with my Duel-Arm Spsce Fighter, I used some SNOT. One of the things I particularly like in this model are the twin engiges. (URL) You can (...) (19 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.announce.moc)

(...) thank you. i never thought i'd like building a mode of transportation so much, it's my very first! and that is a clikits ring for the flotation device. -§ deborah §- (19 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: micro moc: santorini

(...) Hi Deborah that is a sweet micro. And that fishing boat is seriously cute! What part is that you used for the flotation ring? Is it Clikits or something? ROSCO (19 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: micro moc: santorini

(...) I love it! Having been to Thera (now the modern island Santorini), I have to say that your model really has the right look. Nicely captured with the blue tile roofs and white domes. But you could have made the cliff a little higher. Perhaps 20 (...) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
