  Micro (or mini?) Sears Tower

All right, so I know I'm not the first... but my son is a big fan of the Sears Tower, and we had to build one. We can't afford to make it minifig scale (even within the usually loose interpretation of that), so it's more like mini or micro scale. (...)   Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) I recall seeing this when it was first put up on 1000steine. I loved the idea; I just wish I could see a properly translated version instead of one in mangled English the way Babelfish and Google do. Legoswami (19 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) Hey, don't worry, its good that you posted it to trains, it widened the audience anyway! I liked the pope thing too. Tim (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Maybe so, but at his slack-ie-est, he gets more done than you do at your busy-ie-est. Now run along, SKW, and go tell your mother she wants you. (Emphatically) XFUT o-t.fun (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

(...) Which is why I'm glad .trains finally got a co-curator... the original curator was SUCH a slacker! Glad someone's doing stuff! (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) which is why I added it to the sidebar a coupla days ago! I was going to add it last week but I was waiitng for a story to go with the Brickshelf images. It is cool isn't it? Tim (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) Wow. I plowed through it in the original German, then babelized it for good measure, and it appears to be a retelling of part of Gulliver's travels, set in a railway millieu. VERY well done. (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

Hey all, Check out this great ISCC entry by Michael Jasper. I haven't bothered to Babelfish the text yet, but it's a combination of fig-scale and micro-scale train stuff. (4 URLs) Bruce (19 years ago, 17-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)
