These parts were pulled out of my dragon’s neck and tail, they broke because of the dragon’s weight and the resulting rotational shear.

I’ll have to make sure I remember my small bin of replacement parts for the fest.

Take it from one of those whose been through ‘falling mechin at a public event syndrome’ - if that’s all that broke inside one of your mammoth dragons, then you are very lucky indeed! My suggestion would be to keep a small kit of replacement parts with you - anything that moves on the dragon is suspect to the stresses that snap parts. Spare hinges, technic bits, anything that would reinforce the dragon to allow it to survive Brickfest is probably a good idea to take with you.
