Heh, it took me a while, but I finally made out the ‘face’ in this one. Nice,
I always get a good chuckle when I see these huge war machines with
intimidating ‘faces’ on them. ;-)

I played with the antifreze bricks for eyes instead of red. what do you think,
would the electric orange look better (more visible at least) than the red?

What really impressed me the most are the weapons. You just keep getting
better at making large, well designed weapons for these ‘beasts’. That’s
really tough in my opinion, because you have to make them large, but also not
too obscene or cartoonish, if you know what I mean. The turret mounted
cannons are my fav. though, you did a fantastic job on those. Overall, this
is another fine mech, Mark. Good job.
I can’t really think of the criticism, heck, even the widely separated legs
don’t bother me so much. Maybe it’s ‘cause I realize it must have been
difficult working with those massive turntables. However, maybe you could
have made the legs a bit thicker. I dunno, it looks alright as is though.
Oh, as I was looking at this pics, I kept thinking about how an urban
engagement between our mecha/mechs would play out. So here it is:
Mladen’s thinly armoured, small mecha, realizing their shell-firing weaponry
can’t put a dent into Mark’s mechs, make a dash for the nearest building for
cover. While they desperately get their RPGs ready, Mark’s mechs slowly come
over, and say “No way, Jose!” and reduce the building to rubble with one
swift stomp. A massacre ensues, and Mladen has to hastily build a long range
heavy bomber to drop thermonuclear (that’s right, I’m not taking any chances)
bombs over the city. The price of war... much too steep. :-D

Funny, I always though of seeing our mechs strolling though a field of
dandiloins, singing “so happy togetherrrr!!” Then after someone laughed at us,
we’d blow em’ to bits and call it target practice!
You know what’d be a fun storyline, All the mechs/mecha of the LMHoF vs Macross
or the like.
