New mecha, and it's posable! —Mladen Pejic
(URL) Click on Image This is really a first for me. For years now, I've always made my bipedal mecha either flimsy thus requiring numerous stoppers (which are eyesores design-wise) to hold up or so rigid that their one pose looked awkward. BUT no (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: New mecha, and it's posable! —Soren Roberts
No more VOTOMS for you :) That's a really nice model. Great color scheme, and an excellent array of weapons (although the rocket launcher just doesn't "do it for me".) Sole critique: The chest looks sunken. It's more in the nature of personal (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) You know I wasn't even forcing myself to do a VOTOMS-style mecha, and it just happened. LOL! (...) Thanks! (...) Meh... That's your opinion. VOTOMS have sunken chests too, and VOTOMS are cool. ;-p (...) Thanks again, Soren! (URL) Mladen Pejic> (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Congradulations! Glad to see that you finally are getting into the poseable mecha realm...does this mean now I have to start making loads of weapons for my mecha? ;-) Have you tried Geordan's ball stiffening technique? This mecha is cool. I've (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

The color scheme is great, you incorporated the ball joints wonderfully, so that it doesn't look too flimsy at the joints, and you managed to squeeze a minifig into that teeny (...)      (...) Dang dude! Those "on the ground" Sniper Shots are the bomb! Wow! Brill! I gotta say, it is so cool to see the two short wings used on the sides of the Mecha as the structure of the body.      (...) Excellent poseablilty there Mladen. It makes photgrahping mecha all that much more fun when you can wrangle them into all sorts of cool or kooky poses.
