Yep, but to get the joint strength, youll need to re-inforce the sides of
the cylinder brick. Solution: switch to an r2-d2 body instead like so:

This way, not only do you have your joint, but you have SNOT wherever you
need it. Its not the strongest joint in the world, but its quite nice for a
turret and with some revision could conceivably be a good hip design.

Probably some technic beams & pins could hold the arches together nicely & give
it more strength
