inside of a couple 1x4x1 arches:



Is that possible with some SNOT to hold the arches together?

Yep, but to get the joint strength, you’ll need to re-inforce the sides of the cylinder brick. Solution: switch to an r2-d2 body instead like so:

This way, not only do you have your joint, but you have SNOT wherever you need it. It’s not the strongest joint in the world, but it’s quite nice for a turret and with some revision could conceivably be a good hip design.
