Hi Moish, I noticed your stuff on Brickshelf while I was having Lugnet withdrawals during the 30 hour downtime. :^) I like what you have going there! Keep it up, and welcome to .mecha! ~Mark (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Got Mech?

Thanks mark- i feel all warm and tingly- glad you like my stuff so far. The BPT has a really cool rear-entry for the copilot/gunner that didn't come out in the pics- coming from you i'll take any compliments! wish i could get some feed back from (...) (...) Very slick. Nice legs. (I mean the mecha, not you! :-) Actually, the whole model is great. The gantry is a nice touch. :-, BTW -- great background, too. The texture really adds to the atmosphere of the pictures. Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Got Mech?

thanks! i was going for the whole "docking bay" look- note the "markings on walls and floor- hopefully i'll have my site going pretty soon, with in-depth info on all the mechs, some spacecraft, some dioramas, the whole shpeel. it's too bad the pic (...) (...) I just about fainted when I saw this picture... (URL) I realized that it was a view from the back rather than the front. ;-) --Todd (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) i don't get it? does this mean you liked the back view better than the front? or did you almost faint because it's so bad? please let me know. thanks (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I believe the comment is in reference to the *ahem* size of the staircase. ~M (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Got Mech?

i like the mechs... esp. the joints on the HMM10. I was wondering how you did the joints, because i tried plently times to make a decent mech and 2 things always happen: 1. the legs collaspe under the wieght of the body 2. the arms 'sags' due to the (...) (...) HumanoidMediumMech (...) Welcome Moish! Those are two AWESOME mecha(s?)! I especially like the BiPedalTankDualArmamentCarrier because it looks seriously wicked (all those guns and missles!) The HumanoidMediumMech is good too, and all the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Got Mech?

randy- thanks for the input, glad you liked the models. yeah, the whole sagging joints issue is a tough one. the technic black "friction pins" i've noticed come in two "strengths"- look closely at them and you'll see- some have "ribs" that run the (...)   Re: Got Mech?

alex- thanks for the input- yeah the bpt is my favorite and i'm kinda bummed because one of the coolest aspects didn't come out in the pics. like i said, its a two person tank- the rear pilot (rio and gunner) has a really cool entry system that is (...)
