| (...) How do you rate those things, particularly in comparison to ball joints? I've been looking at that set for a while, but all I really want are the hinges so I can't really justify it even at the AU$45 I can get it for now. Are they any good? (...) | (...) I'd prefer these to ball joints, given the choice. The latter are just to weak to support any weight without some extra stiffening, IMO. Now.... I used balljoints for NekoII's ankles, basically supporting her whole frame, but I restricted the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
