Maybe a new Idea for .mecha

I was just browsing LRP translated for the first time and I saw that they build mecha in catagories for fun. Like one month they had a transforming catagory, the next was say mass production style. I think it would be cool to have a sorta LRP-ish (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I think it's a pretty good idea, we do something a little similar for our SEALUG meetings a "theme" for the month. This isn't such a bad idea. It does help one to think outside of the box so to speak. Also, Jon's doing something similar with the (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I agree. This is a nice way to get a little community spirit going around here. Ooh! Ooh! Do transforming mecha first, while I still have all these designs laying around :) I'm definitely looking forward to this. -jeremiah- (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Giant Robot Week on Toonami (was re: Maybe a new Idea for .mecha)

All right if a few of us want to do it say lets start with the Old School Giant Robots!! Starting February 24th Toonami is running an entire week of Giant Robot shows. OLD Giagantor, looks like some Nadesco, Gundam, Robotech, Big-O, and some others (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Sounds nifty! One question though: Does Five Star Stories count as Old-School Giant Robo? I love the FSS mecha, always wanted to build stuff in that vein, and it would be nice to have it fit in with your idea. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey Tony, Just wondering how in the world you got the LRP in english. I downloaded the Japanese Text Support, but it just has the Japanese characters. As a frequent LRP visitor, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me how its done :) (...) (22 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I went to (URL) and clicked on the "Translate" link in the "Tools" section. this brings up a new page with a place wher you can copy and paste the LRP url. Do that and hit the translate button. The whole site will now appear in broken englsh! you (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Ya I think that would be fine, but if you want some FSS mechs, just wait about a half and hour and I'll give you a FSS mech!! out (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Just a quick note for those watching Nadesico... Toonami is apparently showing Episode 25 (of 26) this afternoon, so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't watch. ^^; I really can't believe they're showing the second-to-last episode.... >_< (...) Wha-wha-what!!! That is against the rules! What the hell are they thinking? I figured that the shows were longer then 5 episodes, but running the second to last show is just not right man. I think I might hop on over to toonami and give them a piece (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
