Star Wars mini sets, the tile is from the snow speeder.

The legs started as an exercize in seeing if I could get some mobility out
of a small design. The legs are only held together at the joints with the
bare minimum of a friction pin or axle. The idea was to be able to quickly
disconnect the leg joints and re-assemble them into other poses. It worked
fine with no torso, but once I added the wieght of a body different poses
cause catastrophic failure. It was a grand idea, version 1.0, and happens
to look pretty neat in the process.

Good point. Maybe that'd solve my problem of where to put the rubber. The
rubber tires keep the legs from slipping all over the place. (remember
catestropic failure...)

Just a bit of contrast, also with less moving parts exposed armor plating is
put on top. (the arms are solid, so they are enclosed) The shoulder has
that plate to protect the technic 1 angle connector attached to the end of
the cone. A 3 long friction pin holds the arm to the shoulder and allows
for pivoting. Rotation of the arm is al'la Eric Sophie's 3long axle with
stud on end in micromotor connector method, built under the missle racks.

Thanks, this was a lot of fun, very playable and stops around my workstation

Sure is, they work pretty good. Same thing on bot too.

The bits on the head? They're droid arms.

Thanks for the feedback Tony. Already working on the next mech, so I'm
taking notes as usual.
I'm not really holding out, no really I'm not. I'm just a tad lazy. The
two little guys have been hanging out for a while (didn't think much of them
honestly) but Bulldog was finished a couple of days ago. Little Raptor was
actually a concept design for Dragonwolf.
