Critiquing is kind of tricky. It takes a certain amount of maturity on both sides of the table. To paraphrase one of my mentors (warning, he wasn't the kindest of souls. I remember the triage of broken souls after his class.); 'Don't tell me what (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

My critiques range from "Wow dude that mech is totally awesome!" to the complete end of the spectrum with "Holy cow that mech is pretty friggin cool!" So you see I am a critic (...) (...) Nicely put, Kirby! The only way to learn to build mecha is to actually sit down and do it. My starting point was to emulate Colin Gutierrez' building style and to branch out from there.
