    BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine —Bryce McGlone
   Hey guys, I just noticed that three of the six pictures on the BricksWest flyer that came with the Lego Club magazine are of the mecha table. In particular Eric Sophie is in all three pics!!! (though he's barely in one) Props Eric! Also in the pics (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

   (...) This rocks... While we in the online community know of the neat stuff the .mecha gang does, mecha are definitely underexposed (and possibly underappreciated) out in the wide world. So this exposure is good news. (22 years ago, 4-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Mundanes is a much more generic term since it's used in both Hard SF and fantasy, and predates Rowling by at least 10, possibly 20, years... :-) (URL) bunches of other possible references found by googling using "mundanes SF term" as the (...)
