The chain gun was actually the newest weapon I added, but I also think it
suits the Rook the best. Chain guns further add to that "don't mess with
me" attitude to a mech. [Ooooh...really...REALLY... b-b-big...gun...
(slightly famous last words of more than one unsuspecting fool who fell
victim to the Rook)]

Its one of my personal favorites. That and black and tan, although at the
moment my supplies of green and tan are very scant.

That was one problem I had. I was trying to make the Rook less that 10
inches tall and include a cockpit. That was one of the main reasons the
reactor is on the back. I actually started building it with the green ring
around the torso and then the cockpit itself, and I then worked my way from
there.

That stinks. I was more focused on having a cockpit that making the neck
posable. The head is just mounted on a 1x2 plate with 1 stud in the center.
I really do not like having any of my mechs without a cockpit. I just think
you can't have this massive mechanical weapon of war without having a pilot
inside of it.
you kept your driver and made it look like he's actually

I feel it is better to have too many weapons than to not have enough.

I might do that sometimes. My units can sometimes last years, or only a few
weeks, or only a few minutes. It just depends on how long they last. I
hope to one day make a small mass produced unit and build an entire army.
That would probably get me to create instructions.
