new renders of LM-002 Fatalle —David Thomas Jr.
Since my website was taken down by my ISP a couple months ago due to too much bandwidth, I've started a brickshelf account to post my mocs. I've got some new stuff, but all that's up there right now are the cad images I've created of the LM-002 (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Wow! That is really an awesome model. (In more then one way :) ) Glad you have pics of the Fatalle back. That posability is awesome! Could you give pictures/ideas on the hip and shoulder joints? They seem to do all of the horizontal movement. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I'll render closeups of some of the main pieces of interest, including the hips and shoulders. I think you'll be suprised at how I did the hips, it's a pretty interesting technique. One of the things I did that you can see from the current images is (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I think "Risky Business" should be the title of the 'exhibit.' And your wife isn't jealous, Dave? Sam Schad (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new renders of LM-002 Fatalle —Larry Pieniazek
(...) These are really great renders, they came out looking like sketches or paintings (or cartoons, actually), which really rocks. Can you talk about how you did them? Pov? MegaPOV? Bryce? Something else? And did you do any post processing? Thanks! (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new renders of LM-002 Fatalle —David Thomas Jr.
(...) Glad you like these, I use 3dStudio to render the images (I modeled all the peices myself). One of the tricks to making it look "cartoonish" is using self illumination (about 35%) on the materials, that way the colors are vibrant and you (...)         Re: new renders of LM-002 Fatalle —Scott DeWolf
Stoopid question time (I seem to be full of them this week) Is this model actually buildable (sp??)? Do you have instructions? Looks like it would be fun to make. Cmdr Scooter (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
