it is the most advanced weapons platform ever concieved. it is nearly
unstoppable, it's super-dense armor impervious to anything short of
anti-tank weapons. it can go anywhere, and deliver a nuclear warhead to any
target, undetected. it can operate in any environment. it is the next

METAL GEAR REX. a joint black-project between the Defense Advanced Research
Projects Administration and weapons giant ArmsTech. using rail-gun
technology, Rex is able to launch a nuclear warhead without any traditional
propellants or launch vehicles. this bypasses decades of cold-war nuclear

lemme know if there are any parts of it you want to see in detail, I'll be
happy to take more pics.)

In lugnet.build, Anthony Babington writes: <snip> (...) model looks interesting. I Like how you made the cockpit, with the two opposite sides mating via smooth tiles. The legs confuse me. It looks like there are two parts to the lower leg, but I (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) It is very nice to see how close you have come to the original drawing that you worked from. (URL) belive you came really close to making a perfect copy and I would love to see a second, even better, version of this mecha. I think that you can (...)
