Essentially I wanted to make a clean and purposeful looking design without
ornate or non-functional elements. Its sense of strength flows from its
overall angular shape (which doesn't suggest that it would be cannon fodder
like a GM). And of course red is always bad in the gundam universe since
it's Char's trademark color, "The Red Comet".

It's similar to this:

Though my variation has the front and back lower armor leg hinge like a
clamshell from the top which reduces the gap to the ankle armor without
restricting motion as the ankle bends.

| (...) Wow! I have lots of things to comment on this MS. First of all though, is this a Gundam or a GM? Either way, here are the things I like: 1. The design is extremely clean. 2. The 07 and 06 seem to be very efficient when it comes to # of pieces (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
