More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
An action pose (It isn't actually holding up the gun, the arm is strong enough, but the fingers aren't) (URL) access cockpit: (URL) removed from one side for a skeletal cutaway: (URL) MS team style back rack for cargo pod.          Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
(...) Thanks. I had a dream once where I saw beautiful machine creatures unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Must be my mecha muses, whispering in metallic voices. "K" (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Kyle Keppler
(...) So when are we gonna see more pics?? I want! I have a challenge for ya: Make a gundam with no studs showing at all. (ie covered in tiles etc..) That could be intersting. Anywho, amazing as always, cant wait for more... --Kyle (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
(...) I did a search on google groups and turned up a thread regarding 03 where someone was certain it couldn't possibly be all made of lego :-o Gotta keep some studs visible so people know it's lego and not a model kit. "K" (22 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Mladen Pejic
Great as always Brian, but dude, you have got to start taking even more pics!!! Now I'm not saying take 100+ pictures, just take as many as you did for your older mecha (the 01, 02, etc.). Anywaws, these new 08th MS Team mecha are a simply (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
(...) Thanks. More pictures... when I update my website, I'm a couple of chapters behind in my story line primarily because I was running out of JPEG image storage on AOL, but now I'll use links to brickshelf JPEGs and just store HTML on AOL.          Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
(...) The missile battery will be shown later when I update my site (there will be plenty of pictures then). As for the lighting, just a very bright halogen, angled to prevent plastic reflection back to the camera. This gives a more metallic look. (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) shock absorbers attached to the technic turntable. Is that to help eliminate some of the slop in the swing out motion of the leg? Just out of curiosity, how do you deal with the worm gear slop? I find that throwbot gearboxes eliminate most of (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Brian Cooper
(...) In earlier designs I had worm gears controlling the outward leg movement but I found them to be unnecessary. Instead the shock absorber pushes the leg out until a tire bump stop at the top hits the hip frame. The vertical force of the mecha's (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: More Gundam 06 pics —Eric Sophie
K, these pix are great, I love the cut away Armor/skeleton shot. I am extremely impressed by the excellent back pack. One other thing, I forgot to mention how much I like the collar area just under the chin and around the sides of the head. Very (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
