Yes, a good week for mecha —Brian Cooper
Finally accumulated the parts I needed to finish this yesterday. The MS06 "Ground Pounder": (URL) joints have worm screws, 15 in all. All armor plate can be removed like a master grade kit, a really cool way to build. "K" (22 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Eric Sophie
Sweet, killer, refined, sleek. Look at the feet! Wow look how great thay are with the little red angles forming the shape of the front foot!!! Check out the way you made the Legs, specfically the shape of the plates going up towards and formming the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks. For the virtual IRL experience, imagine Zero Three, only better :) I keep thinking it's going to start walking around my house like that new Sony robot. "K" (22 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Mark Rideout
(...) Very awesome Brian! Can't wait to see more pictures. I was way impressed with your mecha that you graciously sent to show at BrickWest. Hopefully I'll have a chance to see this one in person. -mark (22 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Aiyaz Hussain
(...) Awesome! Does it bend at the knee, cause if it does, that rocks. Are you sure this is your last one? BTW is brickshelf free? 'Cause if it is wait about a week and you'll see my inability with lego. Pardon my ignorance, oz (22 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Brian Cooper
(...) Yep, the knees have worm gears, and the ankles, and the hips, allowing for many natural poses (though not sultry fembot poses). As for this being the last one, I'm going to rebuild 05 (which was a rebuild of 01) with the 06 technology, that (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Borislav Marinov
(...) Great work once again! It is incredible how many of these you have when I am still trying to find the time and pices to build just one copycat that doesn't even have an internal skeleton! Here are the things I like in particular about the MS06 (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Brian Cooper
(...) Thanks. I wanted to make a basic serious gundam, agile looking, yet heavily armored. The wing gundams are kind of overstyled, for fighting machines. They look cool, but not like products of some future military industrial complex. As for the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Tobbe Arnesson

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Christopher Snead
(...) It's interesting to see your progression as time has gone on... I remember seeing your first two gundams in the "Cool Lego Site of the Week" and thinging "those are absolutely perfect!" It would have been difficult to believe that you could (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha —Brian Cooper
(...) I think there may be no limit to the level of refinement in lego model design one can attain. That's sort of a scary concept, isn't it, but we see that in many other areas of technology, computers, cars... "any sufficiently advanced technology (...)
