When I first saw you carry that thing over to the table, I couldn't beleive
it. I was captivated at the glory of such a thing. As I came around the
front and saw the way the head and chest and oh man wow.

Then I got to check it out all afternoon and watch other people act just as
stunned as I was at the time. There were lots of people walking by looking
at everything and seeing all the differnt Mecha around the whole table. It
was great. The people were asking me if I made Agiel. I said no, my Friend
just finshed making it; isn't it Wild!!? People were recognizing all the
differnt pcs and how they were used. They were amazed!

It's Big!! The Gomgile is 37 inches tall, and there are a bunch of pix of
the Mecha sessions with the two side by side, so it's at least 36 inches tall!

And....after Saturday at Bricks West we got to go back to the Hotel with all
the Mecha Guys and check out The Gomgile and Agiel in detail.

I got to understand more about it.

Then, when it got late you left Agiel standing on the table infront of a
light and mirror in my Hotel room Overnight!!!! I was trying to sleep in my
hotel Room and Agiel and the Gomgile were standing over me!!!! It was
slightly discomforting in a crazy way.

Then Early in the morning the light from the terrace shined ever so slightly
in Agiel as the the world woke up. GG's Green Mohawk was the next to catch
the rays.

Then after Breakfast, we collected Agiel and GG and walked with them down
the hallways of the Giant resort hotel. A couple of people that were there
for the local Golf meeting were caught unprepared as we rounded the hall to
the front loby.

Then it was raining. We walked about oh, i dunno 300 - 600 ft. or about 1
block. Carrying Agiel and GG through the Rain to the Mecha Sessions. We
arrived wet with Mechs in hand and held a Talk Session about How and Why we
build Mecha in our various fashions. That was great. Because I got to hear
you talk in detail about a scary Mech I just spent the night with starring
at me in the dark.

Back over to the Pavillion for the Sunday MOC exhibition.

We arrive with our Mechs in the Good ol Red Renta Truck (yeah Truck BTW)

And we set up again. Then you had another surprise.

You set up Agiel to kneel!!!

We set up Agiel and Brian Cooper's MS 03 all in a row with GG Mech, The
Cankerworm, The Red Robot and LBB was hang'n too with Qwilljox sitt'n on the
edge of the table. What a sight to see all those Mechs together like that.
Wow!!!

That was great. I got to see the Mech IRL for the whole weekend and it was
great!

What a Creation ladies and Gents!

Whew!!!

I've posted pictures of my new mecha on Brickshelf. (URL) a quick run down for those who are curious. Some armor attaches via magnets. The whole mecha can kneel (I think it's a first for a model this size) Stands about 32" Fiber optics in the chest (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
