DR-8CO the flying mech —Mark Neumann
At the request of our multibles of insane mech pilots we have released the DR-8CO, "Midnite Madness," for field testing. Evidentally, jump jets are not enough. (URL) On an unrelated note, nominal dosages of prozac are now free to the shock troop (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Travis Dickinson
Alright, a dragon design! It reminds me of the cover art for a book titled Threshold. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Eric Sophie
Hey neato! It's good to see all those cool pcs. go to good use! And it looks like a mini wyvern form D&D I think. Excellent use of parts on the head. Wow cool. Legomaster (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Mark Neumann
(...) Thanks, I think the treasure on this one is 4d20 gold coin bricks. And a 50% of 1d4 gems. I now have my pet dragon, just like Hagrid. Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Stuart Immonen
(...) Cool! Man, it's going to be a weird year for mecha. I'm so glad to see the 'genre' opening up. I like models based on cartoons/toys/garage kits as much as the next guy, I really do! But I also like animal representations/dist...ions/human (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Mark Neumann
(...) But a good year none-the-less. I can't wait to see Digimon mecha. (...) That was the trick. (...) Thanks. I'm really into animals myself and find that I'm now trying to imitate my favorite things into Lego. The animal kingdom and big robots (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Anthony Sava
(...) Very very cool, Mark. As a fellow maker of winged beasts, I have to say you succeeded where I could not. My dragon MOCs are they size they are because I could not get personality into a small head, and yet you have done just that. I may have (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Mark Neumann
Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (...) inspiration for this guy came from you. Thanks for the praise, like I say, comimg from you it is quite a compliment indeed. My thing lately has been making mechs that look good first then make the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Anthony Sava
(...) Great! I already have a few ideas in my head. I would have 'borrowed' the idea anyway, but without your approval I wouldn't have publically posted any pics of the MOC. I've been dieing to have a dragon with a 'beaked' mouth. I've seen many (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —John Carroll
(...) What a cool little dragon mecha. I would have never guessed that there was a pilot inside. . . but there he is. The head is real cool. I'm not sure I like the feet but that is the only thing. (and I can't think of any suggestions to improve (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: DR-8CO the flying mech —Mark Neumann
I know. Got to figure out some kind of small feet/hands. Once I do, look for another dragon mecha. Thanks for the feedback Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
