How do you measure that kind of thing, anyway? I mean, I believe you, I do....
But that is a sweet idea. I've found that those hinges are (perhaps like all
things) more fragile in their manufacture now than they were, oh, fifteen
years ago. The hinges I have from my original space set still function
beautifully. The ones that came with my son's res-q helicopter busted soon
after we unbagged them-- have you noticed any difference?

My guess is that it should be between 20 and 18 gauge wire. I don't know for (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
