Nick,

I don't even remember your announcement. Perhaps it came on a particularly
busy day...?

In any case, I really like the Xk-57 (I can't bring myself to call it
'bubba', I'm afraid), but actually think the greatly unmodified legs stand
out as incongruous. I'd like to see you re-do the legs using the same shocks
as up top, instead of click hinges, and use black as an accent colour on the
feet, instead of the brown.

It really is quite neat-- another Technic-scale suit!

Since the great response to my new site was so overwhelming (not even one

is the Xk-57 Powersuit nicknamed Bubba. This suit holds one man, who
controls the arms via a steering rod and the legs hydrolically by moving his
own. (Yes, the project started out as, 'what can I do with the At-At
legs...') His left arm houses a gattling gun, and the right arm uses a
strong gripping hand.  Attached to his back is a large plasma rifle, which
can be used by the hand. The whole mecha is very articulated, and it is my
first time using click hinges anywhere (though I still dislike them, makes
joint building too easy..) I hope you enjoy it.
