Hi all,

The Cypher is my most recent mecha.  These pics were taken with a 35mm
camera, so excuse the blurriness.

I was simply trying to make a reverse-kneed minifig-scale mecha.  I'm really
beginning to love the grey and tan color scheme.

(...) Wowza---(insert jaw drop) That's pretty cool. I really like the pilot. It looks almost like somesort of bounty hunter vehicle from starwars. It qualifys for my Mecha Contest, so email me if ya wanna enter. Just imagine one of those facing (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Sweet! As Eric likes to say, "this is a good day for mecha". Not one, but two excellent mechs today, now that is something! I like the overall shape of the Cypher (although I can't seem to find the head) but as I have said, I have no (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey very cool Chris! I really like it! It looks tough and ready to rumble, but delicate and fragile at the same time, neat! The big shoulder cannon is cool, I like that alot, but the fact that there is a pilot in there really soups it up! Great work (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Mmmmm, yummy. Good detail. I wish the pics were better. :\ Maybe you could get someone with a good digital to snap some for you sometime. Nice work. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) This is a very nice piece. It is so densely packed that I didn't even notice the pilot right away. I like the sheer bulk of it-- incredibly massive on a small scale. And the colours are fab! stuart (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) The texture on this mech is great! Even for a mech of this size, there's a lot of little things going on to really enhance the detail. I like. Oh yeah grey and tan is definitely nice. Just wish I could get my hands on some more tan. sun (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) You are excused. The emphesis on a fantastic design more than makes up for the blurry pics. (...) You succeeded beautifully. This is now my favorite mecha you've built so far. It's compact, looks positively mean, and has a pleasing shape to (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Woah.... neato... a very nice small mecha. looks very articulate, lots of weapons too. Anyway I could care less about all that 35mm stuff, all I have is a 35mm camera. ~Sigh~ Anyway nice mecha and RANDOM ON! (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Dude, that is just wild! the sheer amount of parts, the sweet way you used the droid bodies as toes! THAT"S JUST COOL! And a minifig piolot to boot! wow, BTW I was blown away by the amount of hits on your Mecha folder! Mr. Master of the minute. (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
