I was referring to both, really.. his model looks quite a bit (to me anyway)
like a Battletech Locust. I know there is a Grasshopper, too, but I brought
it up because it was the first thing that came to mind due to the color of
his mech. [see the silliness between myself and Adam in this thread ;) ]
As for real Grasshoppers vs Locust... biology wasn't my best subject,
certainly not insects. I always thought they were two different critters,
since I've got grasshoppers in my yard..but they're like a half inch long..
not the big nasty crawlies I've seen that are 2-3 times that (which I've
always associated with "locust").
Anyway... I think we've beaten this naming thing into the ground.
May I now suggest "Lopper" or "Grocust"? ;)
