I'd suggest Grasshopper but they're just small locust. ;)


Actually, locusts ARE grasshoppers at a very specific time in their life:
when they're swarming. In fact many grasshoppers exhibit changes in
exoskeleton coloration due to release of pigments following a chemical
signal. So there is really no such thing as 1 locust, only 1 swarm of
locusts.

Or are you talking about the name given to a specific mecha from a game
series? And if so does that make me more of a geek, or less of a geek? ;)

(...) I was referring to both, really.. his model looks quite a bit (to me anyway) like a Battletech Locust. I know there is a Grasshopper, too, but I brought it up because it was the first thing that came to mind due to the color of his mech. [see (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Mark -- that's a great design -- does it have an interior? Looks a smidge small for one, but I never write it off w/o asking. :) It looks very - Locust-like ala Battletech.
