Actually, locusts ARE grasshoppers at a very specific time in their life:
when they're swarming. In fact many grasshoppers exhibit changes in
exoskeleton coloration due to release of pigments following a chemical
signal. So there is really no such thing as 1 locust, only 1 swarm of
locusts.
Or are you talking about the name given to a specific mecha from a game
series? And if so does that make me more of a geek, or less of a geek? ;)

| (...) I was referring to both, really.. his model looks quite a bit (to me anyway) like a Battletech Locust. I know there is a Grasshopper, too, but I brought it up because it was the first thing that came to mind due to the color of his mech. [see (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
