    marsbase update... —Ben Vaughan
Well, looks like it's time for the six month update. 8) Some of you may have seen a small pic of this posted to brickshelf a while ago. Then again, maybe not. 8) While not as artistic or fanciful as a lot of the really great mecha popping up here (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Woa, a Marsbase update! Didn't see that coming :^p. About the mecha, very good. The feet and chest are quite nifty. And I like the bulky look it has to it. The renders, although not perfect, are pretty durn cool. The illustrated look is nifty. I (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hmm, it'll be easier to understand when I post the .dat file. I hope to have it done in few days. I'll see if I can create some better images also. I'm not sure I can describe it very well. 8/ Ben Ben Vaughan buster@marsbase.com (URL) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) slope bricks on the shoulders is cool. I like the anti-grav pack too. BTW, I would really like to see graphical intructions as well. Later, Todd SILICON PSYCHE (URL) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Very tough-looking... like it could kick the stuffin out of whatever it came across. The feet are excellent. The skinny head profile gives the limbs a more massive appearance. Does it have a cockpit? ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: marsbase update... —Eric Sophie

         Re: marsbase update... —Ben Vaughan
(...) Well, sort of. There is space for the pilot. But not much more than that. I know you like to see the internal systems, but I just never seem to find the time. Also, seems like my structures always seem to small to really have any room for LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) design. It looks like a mecha I would _not_ like to go up against. The details in the missle pods and engine area are great. And being a fan of good web-page design, I love the way the page sales-talks all the great new features of the model (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
