AWESOME!

I love it, Stuart! The torso is great, as are the protruding flaps (if they are
flaps?). Very nicely done. I especially liked how you mentioned in another post
that anime mecha have exaggerated features... This is definitely true.

Anime like Gundam feature mecha that have long legs, and very small torsos.
This enhances the effect (sleek and fast look), and make you realize that these
are machines which are meant to mimic human movements, but which are not
necessarily proportioned like humans.

However, your mecha is an entirely different style; the bulky look is very
cool. ;-)

Hello all,

This one's been done for a while (in fact it's already been destroyed in
favour of something newer and perhaps weirder), so sorry if the photos
are poor, not much I can do now....

Mladen, Thanks! Yes, I find that the exaggeration makes up a lot of the personality, expecially at small sizes. I don't have as much lego as a lot of the builders here (and I'm constantly "borrowing" form my son), so I can't do a lot of detail-style (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
