not all gundams, but a very good resource for any type of mech.

Not only do you need to know the size of the Gundam, you also need to
determine the speed that the joints will move at.  Some people use gear
driven joints, where moves slowly, but is very stable.  Peg-type slots allow
for a full range of motion, but can often fall if the Gundam/Mech is hit
suddenly.  There are also click hinges, which seem to be a mix of both, good
strength, but the joints end up weak if you don't build it right.

Hi,

I am currently building Gundam from the original Gundam series. I have a
problem though. I can't seem to figure out how to make any good joints that
have a good range of motion. I need to know how to make a shoulder joint,
elbow joint, wrist and hand, hip joint, knee joint, and ankle joint. I want
the flexibility of the gundam to be decent. As long as it's arms can go past
it's chest so it can swing a saber and it's legs cand stand up and flex a
little. So if anybody could give me any hints, pictures, instructions, or
any type of help at all, email me. Thanks!
