Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hi, everyone! Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. It's from a universe I've been working on (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !

Hey there, LFB! I like it! I like it! Your 'Toad' walker looks like an AT-ST on steroids...it has a nice bulky look to it without actually being bulky. I truly like the flow of the model especially towards the feet. That's certainly one of the best (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) influenced than human. I really like it. The feet, head, hands and gun are all great. Good job, Todd Trotter (URL) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

(...) I like it very much! It has a more organic feel than most mecha models. The construction doesn't seem as polished as others I've seen, but it's still far superior to anything I could do. I especially like the cockpit -- now that I've seen it, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Great mecha Lindsay, very great mecha. Good form, I espeically like the head, and the articulation in the neck is great, it makes it look like it has some personality. The legs are awesome, very unique design, the feet are nice too. Nice thruster's (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) you're really attached to that idea. I think it looks cool the way it is. I like the "toes" and the way the arms seem very poseable. Cool! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Very nice mecha. I like the backstory. What strikes me most about this mecha is the organic hunched feel. The posture really gives it personality. Good articulation on the neck as well. The posability of the head help with the whole personality (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Though these renders don't really show it, the neck has a good range of motion. (URL) J (...) (23 years ago, 25-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yay! Sweden's getting a new, cool weapon! (Which is good because I'm a Swede, hehe...) I like it, especially the dinosaur-look. However, the colour scheme is not that good, IMO. It seems that almost everyone build stuff in tan and brown these days. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Colin, When Sproat was out here in California in April I got to copy two of his models. Very very intricate, very articulate, very beautiful. Seeing them IRL and taking them apart to see how Jeremy made them was too much. I felt very honored. He is (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
