Nice work Mladen. Good to see you are still at it. Good details on this one including the cockpit and the whole rear section. Great mecha! I like the back luggage rack, the red fins on the front legs, the black ladder on the back legs, and the triple barrel gatling guns. I had to check a couple pics to figure out how you made the triangle between the barrels. And of course (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

The true inspiration for putting the cargo platform and all of those bars and handrails is from CNN and BBC footage of weary Russian troops going into Chechnya via tanks. I actually completed 60%-70% of the Carrier before I madly destroyed it. To me, it had gotten way too big and cumbersome to deal with. I would have been sad if I had continued working on it. Thanks James! I had to rebuild both the cockpit and the bottom of the mecha twice. The mecha would have looked much better if it wasn't a two-person vehicle. Oh well... BTW what kind of six legged mecha are you making? - transport, assault... (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
