    EROS mech —Christopher Snead
Hello everybody! I recently finished (more or less) my recent mech. I call it EROS; it is my first attempt at a piloted mech. Well, here it is: (URL) I'll make a gun for it, as well as a backpack, and maybe other stuff; but right now, I'm anxious to (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Eric Sophie
Wow Chris! Sweet design! It's sporty look'n. I like the shoulders ,the head, the , oh well everything! The feet are way cool! Fine example of Lean automata! Cool pix too. Good Idea to add a back-pack, or Jump jets. Using the hinges like that in just (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Bryce McGlone
Beautiful articulation! Excellent head too. I really like the face! Especially the mouth! One of the cleaner humanoid mechs I've seen. I can't get over the articulation though...wow! Now I've got to finish my mech. Waaaaa! Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: EROS mech —Christopher Snead
(...) Thanks! I was debating about what to use for the mouthpiece; I was going to use the other traingle piece (the one that compliments the 2x1 w/ three faces), but I think this one worked out better. After all of my complaining about making heads, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Kyle Keppler
The articulation...is...um... ...AMAZING! All I have to say is dang. How the heck did you get it to pose like that? Does it stand in those last 2 poses well, or does it fall if you touch the ground 2 feet away? Niiiiice work! (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: EROS mech —Christopher Snead
(...) Thanks!!! (...) The last two pictures were taken w/ an S.F. Breeze blowing! The mech is VERY stable in those poses! (...) Thanks again!!! Christopher (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Mladen Pejic
It's finally done!!! Looks great Chris! I would take Eric's advice and add some sort of "mission pack" on the back. BTW you are the king of mecha articulation! (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: EROS mech —Christopher Snead
(...) Yeah, I had planned on making a flight pack for it; but I think for now I'm ready to move on.... (...) Hey, thanks a lot for the compliments!         Re: EROS mech —Geordan Ballantree
Looks great!! the articulation is really sweet, I can't believe the way that thing stands on one foot like that. I can just see that mech as a speical ops mech with a machine gun and everything. Rainbow six sorta stuff! great job! Geordan (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Mark Sandlin
(...) Very poseable! Any particular reason you named it after one of the gods of love? ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Christopher Snead
(...) Well, actually, I named it after a small, near Earth asteroid, which in turn was named after one of the gods of love. I guess Phobos or Deimos would have been more appropriate - those names are reserved for more colorful, meaner looking mechs. (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: EROS mech —Mark Sandlin
(...) Ah, I was just wonderin... since Eros was the son of Aphrodite. He was the god of erotic love (aww yeaahh). He was blind or often shown blindfolded (since love is blind), and he shot magic arrows at people that caused them to fall in love. The (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
