Funny you say urban combat, I always pictures this as a desert (or any other wide open space in which a sniper-like mecha can just pick off enemies), or jungle (lots of nice cover, again, here sniper-like mecha has and advantage) (...) | | | | That is correct, but weren't tanks also used in desert warfare, a la Africa during WWII (ex. Tubruk (sp?)) and U.S.S.R. (ex. Kirsk), and during Operation Desert Storm, as well. ASMs can still fight in urban settings, it's just that they were made (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
