That is correct, but weren't tanks also used in desert warfare, a la Africa
during WWII (ex. Tubruk (sp?)) and U.S.S.R. (ex. Kirsk), and during Operation
Desert Storm, as well.

ASMs can still fight in urban settings, it's just that they were made for more
wide open spaces. Anyways, in my future world, most battles are fought on
battle plain, or other non-civilian locations. Terrorists and other
lunatics only fight in cities.

Glad you like the Scimitar.

As for current projects, I was working on a VTOL troop transport.
That's going to be scrapped because I don't like the way its turning
out.  I'm working on a new mecha that's going to be based on a Spawn toy
and on something I saw from Final Fantasy IX. Hopefully, I can pull it
off.

Thanks Travis!

Funny you say urban combat, I always pictures this as a desert (or any other
wide open space in which a sniper-like mecha can just pick off enemies), or
jungle (lots of nice cover, again, here sniper-like mecha has and advantage)
warfare mecha... Oh well... Urban combat sounds good to me! ;-)

BTW Travis, are you currently building something? I still can't get over how
cool the Dark Nemesis and Scimitar are. Your insects are interesting too...

Nice.  Looks ideal for urban combat.  Keep up the good work.

Here's my newest model. I built it after 2 failed attempts at making a • really
huge mecha carrier, and then a really huge mecha...

The last 4 pictures are just the result of me trying to make some • camouflage
for my mecha. I kinda like it! ;-)

I've finally added the .DAT file for the "Chieftain", so all of you • LUGNETers
who use LCAD enjoy!

Well goodbye all,
