(URL) my newest model. I built it after 2 failed attempts at making a really huge mecha carrier, and then a really huge mecha... Woo hoo! :^D This is a really nice one! It doesn't look as big as the others, but it has a really eye pleasing look to it. Thanks Travis! Funny you say urban combat, I always pictures this as a desert (or any other wide open space in which a sniper-like mecha can just pick off enemies), or jungle (lots of nice cover, again, here sniper-like mecha has and advantage) (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yes, more wing stuff to follow, I'm very pleased with the way this new one is comming out. I'll have to send it on a covert mission during the 12 days of Christmas to hi-jack some parts from you, I'll have to program evasive manuvers to avoid MAP (...) Thanks Bryce! Actually the accuracy of the cannon is decreased by more th 50% when the mecha is airborne. However, the cannon is already so advanced that it can still shoot reasonably well. (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Well, if this thing going to replace tanks, it's going to have be deployed in the same environments as tanks :) Glad you like the Scimitar. That is correct, but weren't tanks also used in desert warfare, a la Africa during WWII (ex. Tubruk (sp?)) and U.S.S.R. (ex. Kirsk), and during Operation Desert Storm, as well. ASMs can still fight in urban settings, it's just that they were made (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks Brian! I already did the green, grey, and dark grey colour scheme with my "Goblin" and "Chieftain" mecha. Military paint schemes get old quick. I wanted to try something different.
