The 'clickiness' of the turntable is pretty strong at first, but the nubs
seem to wear down more quickly than on a click hinge. I've had mine for a
week now, and it can only hold about half the weight it could at first.

Just like the others - little nubs that interlock.

As far as I can tell, it's the same upper as the old turntable.

Of course there are brick connections, I didn't mean to imply otherwise.
There are ways to build with it, but it's tough to build around the flanges.

I have managed to buid a pretty useful mecha... um... 'private area' with
it, as it encases the internals nicely:

The only problem is that the result is very square and very red, and overall
not that pretty. Good for a trainer or an industrial mecha though, i suppose :)
