I tend to get so few replies but Im glad you found it.

Hi Tim,
I also found it got very calm around here. I remember the days when .mecha
was one of the top traffic groups on Lugnet. Dont get me wrong, Im talking
of the times when traffic was produced by MoC replies not flame wars.
Well those were the days, still hopeing theyll come back

Do you have a flickr account yet, Marco? Pretty much
all the mecha discussion has moved over there now. Even the Mechahub forums
were closed to move it to flickr.
I think that the richness of the flickr interface really makes discussing
MOCs easy. Being able to have people highlight a particular point that they
like or feel is a little weak is great for learning and improving.

I too miss the halcyon days of .Mecha. By the time I got into the genre, .Mecha
and Lugnet were already winding down. Part of the problem lies with the
Provisional Council who failed to deliver on the promises of an upgraded system.
I still like to keep the old lighthouse lit, however. Once Brickworld is over I
will have an after action report up. I have some other things I plan to post
once that is over to help stir some activity.
The analogy I like to use for our beloved .Mecha is that of the Thundercats
cartoon. Once Thundera was reconstructed, the Thundercats left a small garrison
of cats to mantain the old lair and watch over Third Earth while the rest moved
on to New Thundera.
