  Brickshelf Find: Tsukiusagi by Sugegasa

Purple rain, purple rain. This lil gem deserves notice for its clever use of not one, but TWO Catwoman motorcyle shells. Its the cat's meow, bub. (URL) (18 years ago, 12-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Curator Highlight: Diorama Level 034 by Tac

(...) This one appeared last night and I like it even more than the above. Tac is a superb builder. (URL) Tim (18 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

--SNIP-- (...) I think I caught two of the missing parts in my updated instructions but not the tear... I have a bad habit of pretending that 1x2 technic bricks already have the half-pins ;) I believe that the gun is unbuildable as is since the two (...)   Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) No worries...I've made a couple of changes (1x3 curved bricks in dark red, 1x1 slopes in red, 1x2 tiles on feet in red) due to part limitations in my small spares collection, and am about to remove the yellow from the turrret as it doesn't fit (...)   Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) Hehe. Cool. Thanks for building this and especially for all the advice. I'll fix the problems, add steps and make some instructions. The order is usually the order I build, copy-paste, add new parts etc. which is really not the way things are (...) (18 years ago, 7-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) Not a bad little mech...Just built one from the ldraw file on brickshelf. A couple of minor issues: 1) the 1x2 plates with handles in the upper leg are the wrong sort to fit the lower leg portion onto. 2) Replacing the yellow 1x2 plates, 1x2 (...)   Curator Highlight: Diorama Level 034 by Tac

Hey guys. I'd like to take a minute and draw everyone's attention to this mecha diorama by Tac. Its a super keen studless backdrop moc in it's own right but in conjunction with an already cool mech, they both enhance each other's presentation. A few (...) (...) He's from Hong Kong and post his stuff on legofigs.com He just made a smaller version of transformable GGG: (URL) (18 years ago, 4-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is the Gibbous Project?

(...) Hey Bryce, naw, I just have been watching it on Brickshelf. I just wanted to give some props, but I did not put it on the sidebar. Infact, one of my co-horts did, I removed it, it makes it seem like I was playing favs. Darn Rookies! LOL, (...) (18 years ago, 31-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brickshelf Find - Replacement Gla?

(...) Oh I like that, transforming gestalt Lego mech. Is that grey one a train? Reminds me of Big Dai X, the tracks I suppose. Nice anyway. (18 years ago, 31-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) Thanks. I'll probably do more of the schematics. They're quite fun and really easy. You can expect more renders from me given the smallness and trainness of my collection. I seem to be moving more and more to the way of the mecha at the (...) (18 years ago, 31-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) -little snip- (...) I dig the schematic view. That just rocks. Seems like rendered models are in some sort of revival. But honestly my favorite is how the driver looks like he's peeking out of the cockpit - "Is it safe yet?" It looks like the (...) (18 years ago, 30-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) It seats a whole figure. I've actually got him standing in the pictures but he sits in there quite happily. Tim (18 years ago, 29-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) Tim, Nice scale. Does it seat a whole fig or just the head? Jude (18 years ago, 29-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Brickshelf Find: 2 Hour Special

This Holiday calls for a Double-Fisted special. Tonight's power house edition features an old school novelty by Slave123 in the first half. In the second hour we have something new and different by Master-Friendly. Not much to explain here. (...) (18 years ago, 29-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  What is the Gibbous Project?

(...) Am I the only one lost here? Is that yours or someone else's? If it's someone else's than whose? Is it a Brickshelf find? Are they having you post it? Maybe something about it? Your post is so cryptic that I'm sort of baffled. Not much to say (...) (18 years ago, 29-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Brickshelf Find - Replacement Gla?

Am I the only one to notice the mini Gla Gla-esque GioGiaGar? (URL) builder is "tkh" which I believe is Japanese for Tony Knaak - though I still haven't figured out what the h is for... (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I love the Gibbous Project

(...) Eric, I cant help but see the resemblance. Of course you love it! I would imagine you were at least one of this lads influences. Good stuff anyway! Danny (URL) (18 years ago, 27-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
