  The Undulating Undulator

A while ago I had created a bunch of alien minifigs with weird heads. (URL) Then I wanted to figure what they would get around in. Here's what I came up with: (URL) Created shortly after watching "War of the Worlds" at the movies. The driver is a (...)   Forget spidertanks and chickenwalkers now Mechs slither

Hi guys, I haven't posted in six months or so but this new MOC had to be shown. Presenting the future of Mech mobility: (URL) The Wor-M X-1. Created Through a cooperative effort by Worsteed Inc. and Metabiz Global the Wor-M X-1 is capable of speeds (...) (19 years ago, 25-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  Dragon

New ship, Dragon. (URL) I did a detailed write up on (URL) MOC pages>. Here's the short story: Dragon is designed in mind with mecha based special forces units. This ship is a smallish (roughly Yacht sized) and equiped to penetrate defenses unseen (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

Re: A Playmate For My Spider

(...) I actually built this last month. I was feeling in a bit of a slump, so I went with something that I knew I could build without too much of a problem. I seem to have a knack for the organic, as a friend has told me. As to the mace sprayer, (...) (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf Find: Hime Robo

(...) That is very cute and feminine. I cant beleive the old flower peices found their way into a robot... Did Mumu come up with any kind of storyline for this robot? I would love to hear about that. Danny (URL) (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Brickshelf Find: Hime Robo

(URL) (Click for gallery link) Mumu's new (and adorable) creation, further reinforcing my belief that Clikits aren't utterly useless. I'd love to see this with some kind of skirt-like flight booster. Maybe we'll see a Miko Robo next? Soren (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A Playmate For My Spider

(...) Makes me want to squash both of them...I hate bugs, but that's a tribute to your building skills. Kudos. -Keith (19 years ago, 16-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf find

(...) I second this post. I find this mech much to my liking. The colors and shapes flow together coherently, the structure looks stable (though I doubt some of the armor connections will survive if a kid started to play with it) and the cabin (...)   Brickshelf find

I scoped this out on BS and added it to the side bar. But as a side note, I had to post it too. (BTW, Stress, sorry if I'm stealing some thunder here, please post if you can) Damn.   Re: A Playmate For My Spider

Great Job Duane. I didn't think a fig would fit in there til I checked out the full collection of pics. Great job. BTW, the tank is just awesome. Mark (19 years ago, 13-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A Playmate For My Spider

Hey Duane. This is a cool insect vehicle. I've been thinking of doing something like this too. Did you build this after House of Bricks last year? Its also very interesting to see a spider and cricket comsumate their love. Maybe add a mace sprayer (...) (19 years ago, 13-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  A Playmate For My Spider

About a year ago I built a spider ((URL)). He seemed a bit lonely, so I build him a playmate. (2 URLs) I'm not sure how well the relationship is working out. The spider seems a bit agressive....   Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

Dark Tower fan here too and just thought I'd plug my DT lego creations: (URL) only suggestion for your MOC is to maybe change the color scheme of the mech. Something other than blue. To me, with the stream in it, the blue representing the water and (...) (19 years ago, 11-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

Hello Adrian, I'm a fan of The Dark Tower too. You did an exciting MOC. Nothing more to say that hasn't been pointed out by others already. Still I wanted to give you feedback, as I've been watching the pictures for quite a while. Like to see more (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Viper can be posed quite well without breaking. But a child would break it at¬ first grab. I have the same problems with some of my technic ball joints. They just don't ¬ grip as good as the others. Sometimes it helps to try another axle. I (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) It was meant to be a compliment! :) It's sad that it breaks easy though. I don't mean this to be a slur on yours (or anyones!) buiding techniques, but I haven't quite got my head round the idea of building models that don't stand up to playing (...)   Re: Blacktron Crusader Robot

(...) Brilliant like allways! My only suggestion would be to bulk up the legs a bit. They seem too thin and light compared to the rest of Mark III. BTW, where do you get all those small parts from? Thanks for sharing (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Timberwolf/Madcat

(...) Well done Nathan! You managed to capture the shape with minimalistic brick usage. The MOC looks very clear and straight. Personaly I would replace the trans-neon cones. White or dark red would be fine, IMHO. Keep up the good work (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) Danke Mladen. (I read something about German on your web page...) (...) It's a seldom used colour on Mecha. I'll try to use it more often in future. (URL) First the cockpit looked quite different>. But I didn't like it. Thought this windshield (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
