If I might make a suggestion to you, Brian, it would be to swap the joint halves
where the leg meets the start of the body. I usually put the rotational joint on
the body instead of in the upper Leg. It more closely mimics how our hip joints
work. Looks like your off to a good start. Keep up the good work!
