Yeah I already did that: http://tor-pw1.netcom.ca/~milovan/HardSuit.htm

And so have many, many, *many* people here on LUGNET. But it is still not
*true* armour.

How about modeling the armour and placing a minifig head on it? That way, you

That's the way I build all my big, evil positronic invaders from Alpha

Added bonus: shooting them to bits N' pieces does not involve mutilating a
minifig body...

Yeah, that kind of armour (Terminator Squad) is pretty hard to model around a
mini-fig.

Oh yeah, check this out: http://tor-pw1.netcom.ca/~milovan/XRQHS.htm

I don't know if this what you mean by armour, but it's close enough!

It's funny, I was just looking at pics of that shortly before I posted what I
did...

I've done exoskeletons like this before, too.  For example:

http://www.people.thirteen.net/~eric/lego/exo.html

Armor of the type I'm talking about being hard to model in minifig scale can • be
seen at:

http://www.games-workshop.com/warhammer40k/40kforces/Space_Marines.html

Scroll down until you see the bit about "Terminator Squads".  Pretty much
impossible, given the constraints of the minifig and Lego bricks.
