  Brickshelf find

Hi out there, see what I found on brickshelf: (URL) izzo> On this one I especially like the color scheme. But his whole (URL) gallery> is worth having a look! Marco (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) I love the overall shape. Especially the rounded areas. And the feet vaugely remind me of an Invid from Macross. Colors are working well too. Just a clean well done mecha. (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) I'll start with the "bad"...Mechawarrior type mecha just isn't my thing. Now the good... I really really like the hips and waist. You did a great job of compacting all those turntables and gears and such. And you blended the System parts into (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MC7 ZRX1 "02" Pictures * Informational Post Only *

(...) Hahahahaha like 52 pick up. (...) The first on you mention is an entry for Paul Hartzog's Skycar Contest held some years back. The second one is the head for the Second version of the (URL) RG Mech>. The pnuematic hand was from the rear (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

(...) Good question. No not really. I did find that once the entire structure was in place, the weight on it pressing down making the vibration less as it was more solid, plus the weight of the inner gantry helps surpress the fan noise more so then (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hmmm...What can I say that someone hasn't already posted? Well, I need to highlight the creative cockpit construction. I like it a lot....may have to adapt something like it in a future design. Excellent work , Marco! -Jon (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) Since I don't forsee myself changing the scale of my projects anytime soon, I'm focusing more on the detail work. (...) I just found out by playing with the lego digital designer over the weekend, that TLG is referring to that color as medium (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

(...) -snip- (...) Thank you, in this past year I have made cats, dogs, hexapods, insects, tranports, hoverships, moonbases, robotics, picture frames, signs, Mecha, a few skin builds, rebuilds and modifications. Woof. Glad its not just all the same (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hi Marco, That is one sweet looking mech. Large posable mechs are tough to design well, but yours is up there with the best! Well done. The Shogun mech sure was a great mech for insiration. Thanks for spending the time creating a moc page too, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Super Robot 12

Well, I dont have too much to chime in, beyond that I definately liked it, and I definately can imagine the awful theme tune engrish to go with it all too well... Its nice to see a robot with a real comical touch - for example the fact that it (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MC7 ZRX1 "02" Pictures * Informational Post Only *

"Find the new stuff" - argggh - there is a lot here, but I do know what I have seen before. Its a big question as to wether its stuff I had been lurking here long enough. Anyway - I get the impression, like you say that this is not a post about (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

Hmm, about time I chimed in here. What can I say, but that I am impressed by your work as always Eric. I am glad you got the lamp working with out to many problems, did you manage to get the noise down? It looks good with the mech in it, and the B (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) I'll echo the comments of others on the lower legs, you're getting a really nice effect there. It's really a great color scheme, with the light gray indicating mechanical function and the blue being primarily armor plating--very logical. I (...)   Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

(...) That's hawt. I hope whoever buys it brings it to a fest, so we can turn out the overhead lights and see how it really looks in the dark. Tremendously creative use of that ultra-ultra-rare trans clear baseplate! (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) You're so kind to your mech pilots, giving them a way to climb in and out of the cockpit! A well-armed mech, maxing out the medium weight class tonnage, this looks like one I'd pick to play in a video game (when do we get a MW5? It's been (...)   Re: Super Robot 12

(...) Once again, your creation succeeds to impress! I like the rounded evolution of the Teknomeka. I feel a little dumb commenting specifically on such a small detail on such a huge mecha, but I liked the little AT-AT viewport printed slope you (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

The jointed feet really show the effectiveness of the concept: (URL) They seem to have forced the ankle joint halfway up the calf, which is a little weird, from a humanoid standpoint, but works for a mech. The waist and hips are a real worm gear (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

In lugnet.announce, Eric Sophie wrote: <snip> (...) I've really been impressed lately by your building direction. I've been seeing so much innovative stuff from you over the past year.   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hey, this is interesting - it caught my eye on Brickshelf. I imagine that, being "only" 19 inches tall and loaded with worm gears, this model is pretty stable. I was a little perplexed at first by the wide hips, but now I see this is more of a (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
