I like it. its a good representation. For those in the dark on this -
the original looks something like this:

The weapons look the part, although I think the fins only need to be
on one shoulder. I think that you could get the look a bit closer if
you inverted the bricks clipped on at the kneecap joints.  Its a
fantastic mech. Any chance of other views - like the rear as well?

I also liked some of your other sculptures. The large scale lego
bricks are seriously awesome. I am most impressed by the moving hinge.
You've done some amazing stuff there Sean.

Hi, everyone!

I was recently commissioned by a woman to build a
model of a mech called "Viktor Hannan" for her brother.  He's a total Mech
nut, and this is his favorite character.

As you have no doubt noticed, Sean, building mechs gets a little tricky at
times. However, I can tell you that as a total Battletech junkie you have done
very well with this one.

So I figured, "why not?" :)  The mech came out OK... it's pretty small (only
about 6 inches tall) and I was a little rushed to get it done in time for
his
birthday, but overall I'm happy with how it came out.

Actually, I wouldn't be too upset about the size if I were you because you
definitely got the feel of this venerable old design. In addition, in my
opinion, making smaller mecha can pose more difficulty when building a
rendition
of an existing design because you have less pieces to work with to get the
desired shapes.

My only suggestion would have been to beef up the upper leg a little bit.

Again, Sean this would be a first rate effort even if it wasn't your first
mech!
Keep on building them, I look forward to seeing more.
