As you have no doubt noticed, Sean, building mechs gets a little tricky at
times. However, I can tell you that as a total Battletech junkie you have done
very well with this one.

So I figured, why not? :) The mech came out OK... its pretty small (only
about 6 inches tall) and I was a little rushed to get it done in time for his
birthday, but overall Im happy with how it came out.

Actually, I wouldnt be too upset about the size if I were you because you
definitely got the feel of this venerable old design. In addition, in my
opinion, making smaller mecha can pose more difficulty when building a rendition
of an existing design because you have less pieces to work with to get the
desired shapes.
My only suggestion would have been to beef up the upper leg a little bit.

Again, Sean this would be a first rate effort even if it wasnt your first mech!
Keep on building them, I look forward to seeing more.

| I like it. its a good representation. For those in the dark on this - the original looks something like this: (URL) weapons look the part, although I think the fins only need to be on one shoulder. I think that you could get the look a bit closer (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
