(...) I saw your suggestion about the cling wrap before and I used it on my own mecha to make the friction pins fit tighter in place. It works great! My mecha can stand up on his own now! =) He can aim his gun for days without ever lowering his (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Silicon tape should work well. You can findn it in the plumbing section of a hardware store. It is a white tape (no sticky) about 3/8" wide. It is very stretchy and will conform very tightly to any shape. It's used on the threads of pipe for (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Not only will it not show up when seen from the side (as is occasionally the case), but Saran Wrap (or any plastic wrap for those against using brand names :) is DESIGNED to stick to things...
