(...) snipped (...) I have been a card carrying member of Lugnet (so much for "lifetime" membership lol) since 2000 and I would have agreed to your last sentence there wholeheartedly a while ago. But not anymore.          Re: LUGNet shut off —Marco Tagliaferri
(...) Well, I spent and spend most my time in .build.mecha and .space. I care for the MOC and the LEGO related stuff. As I was tought by my parents I try to treat everybody the way I'd like to be treated. I have a rule I keep in mind: Listen - think (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) -snip- (...) Hey Marco, I am sorry for confusion - I was being a bit coy and cynical. I really doubt that Lugnet will be turned off - Suz has a plan for getting Lugnet to a better position and I have confidence that her plan will work. I too (...)          Re: LUGNet shut off —danny staple
(...) Well I would like to lend my voice to this. I find lugnet a great resource, and I am happy to promote, or link to it from orionrobots.co.uk. I use lugnet pretty much every day, or at least read the feeds to my mailbox from it. I support you (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNet shut off —Gerhard R. Istok
(...) Orion, I feel the same way... unfortunately the posts that go only to lugnet.admin don't show up when you scan thru the posts on the main post menu. I didn't realize this until 2 days ago. There are a lot of posts over there that may not be (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

I'd hate to see Lugnet go myself, though I'd be lying if I said that I don't somewhat miss the good ol' days of rec.toys.lego. -Josh (19 years ago, 18-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNet shut off —Robert Fries
(...) Regarding how October 1st was chosen, Suzanne says in her (URL) blog>: "... I need to set a deadline. A shutdown clock will initiate shortly. It's very real and all-encompassing.         Re: LUGNet shut off —Dave Schuler
(...) Hi Robert: With due respect, did you happen to read what Suz herself wrote (URL) here?> Here's the central point, IMO: No piece of a blog entry should be pulled out, given a title and posted at LUGNET with an implication that an announcement (...)
