For the most part Ive just been flying under the radar in .mecha...you know
lurker mode. I still check all the models out though I usually dont post.
However, at the urging of a friend Im posting my latest Bionicle moc here

Bryce!!!
That is just too cool! How the heck did you get it to stand up with that huge
rear end? :-p
Great MOC, Im glad you brought it to our attention. I really wish youd post
more often. :-)

Its another study of organic Lego. Heres some of the text from my BZP post:
Ive been trying to build these open organic type models. Ive dubbed the
style weaving from something ThraxisJr said once, that building Bionicle is
like weaving. Though how he knows what weaving is like is anyones guess.
Anyhoo Im trying to make a semi ridgid skeletal structure and skin that
rather than building out from a solid structure (like a Toa body). I know the
end result is somewhat messy looking but Im pushing myself to build a bit
more free flow. Also Im gearing up to make something larger which will need
to be lighter as well. Im hoping this open type style will help me.

Hmmm, very interesting. That is definitely a new approach to building. The only
problem I can see is that the skin would be kinda fragile. Of course, Im sure
youre already thinking of ways of making it strong.
Keep up the awesome work.
